Hamish, A 12 Inch Merrythought Bear From The 1980's Looks Out From A Japanese Maple Tree.

Hamish is a sweet little bear. He takes turns with Saggy Bear in going to the movies with me, and he keeps his ticket stubs in his Lee Jeans Coverall pocket. He has thick Golden Mohair Plush and he's stuffed with Kapok. His nose and mouth are stitched with black thread and he has plastic eyes. He loves to give and receive hugs. On his right foot is a tag that says Merrythought (A Merrythought is another name for a Good Luck Wish Bone) Ironbridge, Shrops (for Shropshire) Made In England. His other foot is signed by a member of the Merrythought company. I believe it says B. Holmes. He must have been signed at a toy show. I bought a number of nice collectible bears about 10 years ago from a woman who was moving to a smaller home and had to let some of her bears go. You will be meeting more of them in the future. ~Lovethemsteiff~
