The Meeting Of The Tiny Teddies Sewing Circle. (3 1/2 inch Steiff Teddy Bears.)
Dear Diary, Today was the meeting of the Tiny Teddies Sewing Circle. We meet once a month on the Second Tuesday from 7 to 9 pm. Everyone works on what they like to do best. I (Tiny Ted) am sewing a scrap quilt on my grandmother's sewing machine. Percy is finishing the binding on his Bow Tie and Four Patch Wall Hanging. Golda brings her knitting, and Mike likes to do Cross Stitch. It's wonderful to just sit and stitch and pass the time away. We love to see what everyone's working on, and if someone is needing an opinion on what colors or patterns to use next, we all try to be of help. The best part of the evening is when we have Show-And-Tell, when we each take a turn showing what we've completed that month. Knowing that it's almost time for the next meeting really helps to get motivated to have something completed to show. We all get so much fun out of it. Then we take a break for cookies and punch before the drive home. I can't wait till next month when I can show them my next project. I just love Second Tuesdays! Good-night, Dear Diary. Tiny Ted
