Frank, The Postage Stamp Bear. Fun Facts.

In 2002 The United States Postal Service issued a set of commemorative stamps of Vintage American Made Teddy Bears to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the Teddy Bear. (See the previous post which is below this one to see a picture of the four stamps.) A Replica bear was designed by Dee Hockenberry and Frances Harper for Bears + Things. The 10 inch mohair Bear's name is Frank. This is a photo of one of these bears, from my personal Teddy Bear collection. He is number 322 out of a limited edition of 2000. Embroidered in black on his left foot, is 32 USA, and embroidered in red on his right foot, is the name Frank. I added the ribbon for color. He is displayed with a vintage toy mail box coin bank, and a vintage doll quilt as a backdrop. *Lovethemsteiff*
