Barbara Cartland's Bear, "The Prince Of Love." (Celebrity Bears.)
This fabulously bejewelled bear once belonged to the popular Historical Romance Novelist, Barbara Cartland. He now resides in a museum. The 16 inch mohair bear has a mouth that can be opened by operating a lever at the back of it's head. The bear wears a pink satin ribbon around his neck and is covered with costume jewelry from head to toe. Miss Cartland wrote this poem about her bear...
"I am a special Teddy Bear,
I am very particular what I wear,
My diamonds gleam like the stars above,
As really I am the Prince of Love."
